    Description :

    The UPS ( uninterruptible power supply) module shall consist of a rectifier/charger and three-phase inverter with associated transformers, static transfer switch with bypass switch, synchronizing equipment, protective devices, and accessories as specified. The specified system shall also include a battery disconnect breaker and battery system.

    Specification :

    1. Input: A. Voltage fange: +10%, -15% of nominal (no battery discharge at -20%). B. Frequency range: +/- 5%. C. Inrush current limiting: 20% to 100% of full rated load over 15 seconds. D. Sub-cycle magnetizing inrush: Not to exceed 5-8 times normal full load input current with optional input isolation transformer and optional input filter. E. Power factor: minimum 0.85 lagging at full load with nominal input voltage (can be increased to 0.92 lagging with optional input filter). F. 2-step input current limit: maximum of 125% normal full load input current. (factory set at 115% for normal operation, 100% for generator operation). G. 2-step battery charge current limit: Step 1 - factory set at 10% (adjustable 1-25%). Step 2 - factory set at 1% (adjustable 1-25%). H. Current distortion: less than 30% THD at full load input current. The optional input filter shall reduce reflected input current distortion to less than 7% THD at full load. The optional 12-pulse rectifier shall reduce reflected input current distortion to less than 9% at full load, and less than 4% with optional input filter. 2. AC output: A. Load rating: 104% continuous load rating at 40 degC for any combination of linear and non-linear loads. B. Voltage regulation: +/- 0.5% for balanced load, +/- 2% for 50% unbalanced load. C. Voltage adjustment range: +/- 5% manually. D. Automatic line drop compensation: adjustable 0 to +5% of nominal voltage. E. Frequency regulation: 0.1%. F. Efficiency: defined as output kW/input kW at a load power factor of 0.8 lagging: not less than 94% for 480/480 VAC.
